KARIYA PARK

One of Mississauga's most tranquil and calm parks is Kariya Park, located at 3620 Kariya Dr, Mississauga, ON L5B 3J2, Canada. The park, which is surrounded by high wooden walls, is a haven of peace and quiet in the middle of a busy city. The park, which bears the name of Mississauga's sister city in Japan, has gardens with winding walkways that circle water features that are crossed by wooden arches.

There are numerous floral trees and bushes planted on the gently sloping hills and around the ponds. When the cherry trees bloom in the spring, the garden erupts in a flood of pink blossoms. 


ERINDALE PARK

There are five designated group picnic areas at Erindale Park located at 1695 Dundas St W, Mississauga, ON L5C 1E3, Canada, along with lovely walking and bike routes. The park's access to the Credit River, however, is the major attraction. The river runs cheerfully down towards Lake Ontario, almost dividing the park in half.

The banks are a well-liked fishing location where fisherman can try their luck all summer long. The river bursts into a flurry of silver and scarlet in the fall when the salmon migrate upstream to breed.

The Riverwood Park is reached by the Culham Trail after passing through the park and continuing north along the riverfront.
