DUNDURN CASTLE

Because Dundurn Castle is a unique surviving example of a picturesque estate in Canada that displays a remarkable degree of integrity, it was named a national historic site of Canada in 1984. The 1,700 square meter mansion, which is situated on York Boulevard, was constructed over the course of three years. Since the city bought Dundurn Castle in 1900, it has been accessible to the general public. It is presently recognized as a Canadian National Historic Site.
